About Colleen Frawley
I am a writer, speaker, and advocate with 15+ years of public administration, public policy research, freelance writing, journalism and proposal development experience.
I've also taught writing and research to teenagers and adults and provided consulting services to non-profits, government agencies, and campaigns.
My passion is helping people of all ages find their unique voice and communicate with credibility.
I completed a MA in social policy in Ireland, and managed social policy programs for ten years and this expertise influenced much of my writing. My work has appeared as features, op-eds, reviews, and industry-specific articles in Maine-based papers and national outlets like CNN.com, Rewire.news, Ploughshares, Assay Journal of Nonfiction Studies, Ms. Magazine, Shelterforce, and Irish national papers, like The Irish Times.
